As we prepare to host our first in-person Foolscap since the start of the pandemic, we know that COVID hasn't disappeared. To reduce risk for everyone who attends, we will be requiring evidence of COVID vaccination for everyone present.
We also know that masks help slow the spread of COVID, but they can also make group conversations harder, and often come off when people are eating or drinking together. We will make a decision on whether to require masks in all indoor spaces at Foolscap based on current infection data in our area close to the convention date, as well as feedback from the people who plan to attend.
